This Refund Policy explains how United Contractors Network LLC, doing business as “SlideFix” (“SlideFix”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles deposits, charges, cancellations, and refunds for services booked through https://www.slidefixusa.com or by phone, text, or email (collectively, the “Services”).
By scheduling an appointment or approving a job with SlideFix, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. General Policy
SlideFix provides on-site repair and maintenance services (for example, sliding glass door and window repairs). Because our work involves technician time, travel, and materials ordered specifically for your property, most payments are non-refundable once the service has been performed or materials have been ordered, except as described below or where required by law.
2. Estimates vs. Final Invoices

Any price given as an estimate (online, by phone, text, or email) is not a final quote and may change after an on-site inspection.

The technician will confirm the final price with you before starting the work whenever reasonably possible.

Once you approve the work and the technician begins, you agree to pay the final invoice amount for the services performed and materials used.
3. Deposits
For certain jobs—especially those requiring special order parts, custom glass, or larger projects—we may require a deposit.
3.1 Non-Refundable Deposits

Deposits are generally non-refundable once we:

Order custom or special materials for your job, or
-
Reserve substantial technician time specifically for your project.

3.2 When a Deposit May Be Refunded
A deposit may be refunded, in whole or in part, only if:

We cancel the job and are unable to reschedule, and
-
We have not yet ordered custom or non-returnable materials for your project.
Any exceptions are at SlideFix’s sole discretion, except where local laws require otherwise.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
4.1 Customer Cancellations (Standard Appointments)
If you need to cancel or reschedule:

More than 24 hours before your appointment:
-
We will typically waive any cancellation fee.

Less than 24 hours before your appointment or after the technician is already in route:
-
A trip charge or cancellation fee may apply to cover the technician’s time and travel.

Specific fees (if any) will be disclosed at the time of booking or on your confirmation message.
4.2 No-Show / No Access
A “no-show” or “no access” may be charged as a trip fee if:

The technician arrives at your property at the scheduled time but cannot access the work area (locked gate, no one home, unsafe conditions, etc.).

The appointment is effectively cancelled on-site due to lack of access or inability to proceed that is not caused by SlideFix.
4.3 SlideFix Cancellations
If we must cancel or reschedule due to weather, safety, illness, or other reasons outside your control, we will:

Make reasonable efforts to notify you as soon as possible, and
-
Offer to reschedule your appointment.
If we cancel and cannot reasonably reschedule, any deposit you paid for unperformed work or un-ordered materials may be refunded.
5. Refunds for Completed Services
Because our Services involve on-site labor and repairs tailored to your door or window, completed work is generally non-refundable. However, we want you to be satisfied.
5.1 Service Quality Issues
If you believe something was done incorrectly or the issue was not resolved as described:

Describe the problem and provide photos or video if you can, and
-
Allow us a reasonable opportunity to inspect and correct the issue.
If, after inspection, we determine that:

There is a problem directly caused by our workmanship and
-
It falls within any applicable workmanship warranty we provided,
then we will typically offer one of the following, at our discretion:

A return visit to correct the issue, or
-
A partial refund or credit toward future services,
depending on the nature of the problem and what is reasonably required to fix it.
5.2 Issues Outside Our Control
Refunds are not provided for issues caused by factors outside our control, including but not limited to:

Pre-existing damage or hidden structural problems.
-
Misuse, abuse, or neglect after the work is completed.

Damage from pets, other contractors, vandalism, or accidents.
-
Weather, settling of the building, or other natural causes.
6. Special-Order & Custom Materials
Some jobs require custom glass, manufactured parts, or special-order materials tailored to your specific door, window, or opening.

These materials are often non-returnable to the manufacturer.

Once ordered, the cost of such materials is generally non-refundable, even if you later decide to cancel the work, except where required by law.
If a manufacturer defect is discovered, we will work with the supplier to obtain a replacement under the applicable manufacturer warranty, where possible.
7. Refunds for Overpayments or Billing Errors
If you believe you have been overcharged or there is a billing error:

We will review the charge and, if an error is confirmed, issue a refund or credit for the overpaid amount.
Refunds for billing errors will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.
8. How Refunds Are Processed
When a refund or partial refund is approved:

We will process it using the same payment method used for the original transaction, where possible.

Processing times may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider, but it may take several business days for the credit to appear.
If the original payment method is no longer available, we may issue a refund by check or another reasonable method.
