These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of https://www.slidefixusa.com (the “Site”) and any services provided by United Contractors Network LLC, doing business as “SlideFix” (“SlideFix”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing the Site, requesting an estimate, booking an appointment, or using any of our services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or Services.

2. Use of the Site

3. Quotes, Estimates & Service Appointments
3.1 Estimates
Any prices or estimates provided on the Site, by phone, or via email/text are estimates only and may change after an in-person inspection or once more detailed information is available.
3.2 On-Site Inspection
For many services (including sliding door and window repairs), final pricing is determined after an on-site inspection. The technician will confirm the scope of work and final price before starting the job, whenever possible.
3.3 Scheduling & Availability
Service appointments are subject to technician availability, weather conditions, access to the property, and other factors. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments when necessary, and we will make reasonable efforts to notify you as soon as possible.
3.4 Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for:

Providing safe and reasonable access to the property and work area.

Ensuring an adult (18+) is present during the service.

Securing pets and valuables away from the work area.

If we cannot safely access the work area, we may reschedule or cancel the appointment, and a service or trip fee may apply.
4. Pricing, Payment & Taxes
4.1 Pricing
All prices are in U.S. dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Pricing may vary based on location, materials, complexity of the job, and other factors.
4.2 Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

Payment is due at the time services are completed, or as specified on your invoice.

We may accept cash, credit/debit cards, electronic payments, or other methods as communicated to you.
4.3 Deposits
For certain jobs (especially large or custom orders), we may require a deposit before ordering materials or securing your appointment. Deposits are typically non-refundable once materials are ordered, except as required by law or as otherwise specified in writing.
4.4 Taxes
You are responsible for any applicable sales, use, or other taxes associated with the Services, as required by law.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
5.1 Customer-Initiated Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. We may apply a cancellation fee or trip charge, especially if:

The technician is already in route or on-site; or
-
Materials were pre-ordered specifically for your job.
5.2 SlideFix-Initiated Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an appointment due to:

Unsafe working conditions;
-
Severe weather;
-
Technician illness or emergency;
-
Unavailability of required parts or materials; or
-
Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We will use reasonable efforts to notify you promptly and offer a new appointment time.
6. Workmanship, Materials & Warranty
6.1 Workmanship
We strive to provide quality workmanship and professional service. Any work we perform will be carried out using reasonable care and skill, consistent with industry standards for similar services.
6.2 Materials
Materials used may be new or, if agreed, equivalent grade replacement parts compatible with your existing system. Certain parts or products may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, which is separate from any warranty we provide.
6.3 Limited Warranty
Where stated in writing on your invoice or service documentation, SlideFix may offer a limited warranty on specific work or parts. The terms, length, and coverage of such warranty will be described in that document and may vary from job to job.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, our Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, and any implied warranties are limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
6.4 Exclusions
Our warranty (if any) does not cover:

Normal wear and tear.

Misuse, abuse, or neglect.

Damage caused by third parties, pets, vandalism, weather, or acts of nature.

Alterations or repairs made by others after our work is completed.
7. No Professional Advice

You are responsible for deciding whether to attempt any DIY repairs or modifications and for ensuring that any work complies with applicable building codes, HOA rules, and safety standards.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or the Services shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Alachua County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
